Born and raised in Luling, Texas, a small town south of Austin, I grew up eating and enjoying some amazing food. Whether it came from my great-grandma's kitchen or Luling's own City Market BBQ, you could rarely put something in front of me I didn't love.
I have always had an artsy side that led me enjoy writing, drawing/painting, and eventually cooking.
Earning an Art Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, was the first part of ultimately creating my own career.
Attending culinary school was the best decision I have ever made. Countless times I am asked by different people I meet if culinary school was "worth it", and I can honestly say- it is invaluable. Not only did it give me the tools I need to become a successful chef, but it led me down a path to starting my own Personal Chef career.
Being a personal chef is a dream job for me. Most people don't understand how I can cook all day or grocery shop all the time, but it is a labor of love- and I love to cook! Most of all I love creating healthy delicious meals for families, so that they can enjoy more time around the dinner table.
